piglet

Piglet can probably be described as Pooh's best friend, and he can certainly be described as a piglet. He appears in almost all of the Winnie the Pooh stories.

Piglet is on the smaller side of things, especially when compared to animals such as Kanga or scary persons such as the Heffalump or Woozle. Because of his size Piglet is often a little nervous in frightening situations, and he relies on Pooh and Christopher Robin to keep him safe and hold his hand.

Despite his nervousness and Anxiety, Piglet is brave and courageous on a number of different occasions, most notably in the chapter In which Piglet does a Very Grand Thing. This proves that he is actually a rather remarkable animal, whose bravery belies his tiny size.

Piglet likes to eat haycorns.
