kanga

Kanga is the adult half of Kanga and Roo, and, as befits her name, she is a kangaroo. She is also the only female character in the Winnie the Pooh stories (one or more of Rabbit's friends-and-relations must surely be female too, but we are not really counting them as they all come together in a bundle rather than one at a time).

Kanga is a loving if perhaps over-protective mother, and is often worrying about Roo and his propensity to fall into rivers and suffer from biscuit coughs.
